About Me

Four Generations of Bookkeeping | Built by a Business Owner | Guided by Service | RN Led Approach

Hi, my name is Becky.

My path into bookkeeping wasn't simply a career change—it was the continuation of a family legacy.

I grew up inside a family business founded in 1952, watching my grandmother balance handwritten ledgers long before accounting software existed. That responsibility passed from my grandmother to my mother, then to me, and today my daughter continues the tradition through her work an an Enrolled Agent (EA) and tax professional.

That multi-generational experience shaped one of my strongest beliefs: organized finances create stability, freedom, and long-term success for small businesses.

I have always enjoyed numbers, organization, and business. In fact, while taking business and accounting courses in high school, I thought my future might be in the financial side of healthcare. Instead, life led me into nursing, where I spent more than 30 years caring for patients across multiple specialties.

Looking back, it's amazing how life comes full circle.

For more than two decades, I managed real-world bookkeeping, payroll, and operational systems within a family-run company, overseeing financial organization, workflows, and business infrastructure.

In 2021, I founded BK Home Infusions, LLC from the ground up, designing the financial processes, administrative systems, and operational structure needed to launch and grow a specialty infusion nurse staffing business.

Building and operating BK Home Infusions gave me firsthand experience with every aspect of running a business—from bookkeeping, payroll, and cash flow management to hiring, compliance, business operations, and strategic growth.

More importantly, it gave me a deep appreciation for the responsibilities business owners carry every day. I know what it's like to lie awake thinking about payroll, cash flow, unexpected expenses, and the countless decisions that come with running a business. I understand the challenge of serving clients, managing a team, solving problems, and trying to grow while wearing multiple hats.

My nursing career also shaped the way I work. As a registered nurse for more than 30 years, I learned to stay calm under pressure, pay close attention to details, solve problems, and support people through challenging situations.

Those same qualities guide how I serve my bookkeeping clients today.

my money & business philosophy

I believe bookkeeping is about much more than numbers.

Behind every financial report is a business owner working hard to build something meaningful for themselves, their family, their clients, and their future.

One of the most important lessons I've learned came from seeing how much a business can be affected when bookkeeping, financial systems, and meaningful reports are not prioritized.

Good business owners can work incredibly hard, care deeply, and have valuable services to offer, but without clear books and reliable financial information, they are often left making decisions in the dark.

That is why I believe bookkeeping should never be treated as optional.

Whether a business owner chooses to do their own books or hire professional support, the financial side of the business needs consistent attention. Accurate books, organized systems, and useful reports help owners understand what is working, what needs to change, where money is going, and whether the business is truly growing in a healthy way.

Over the years, I have seen the difference that accurate records, organized processes, and reliable financial reporting can make in helping a business grow and thrive.

I have also seen how stressful, expensive, and discouraging it can become when the financial side is pushed aside for too long.

That is what led me to create Clear Path Financial Services.

The work many business owners dread is work I genuinely enjoy. I love organizing financial information, creating efficient systems, solving problems, and helping business owners gain clarity about where their business stands.

My goal is not simply to keep books organized. My goal is to help business owners feel informed, supported, and confident about the decisions they are making.

Today, through Clear Path Financial Services, I work with nurse entrepreneurs and service-based small business owners across the United States who want more than basic bookkeeping.

They want a trusted partner who understands both the numbers and the realities of running a business. That's exactly what I strive to be. Through reliable bookkeeping, payroll support, practical business systems, and tax-ready financial organization, I help business owners reduce financial stress, understand their numbers with confidence, and focus on serving their customers, growing their businesses, and doing what they do best.
